이 새로운 리스트는 얼마 동안 유효한 건가요?
 새로운 직업군 리스트는 매년 업데이트 될 것이며 호주 노동 시장에 따라서 바뀔 예정입니다. 리스트는 상대적으로 안정적일 것으로 예정되나 특별한 직종이 어느 기간 동안 남아있을 지는 보장할 수 없습니다.

 

새로운 리스트는 누구에게 적용되는 건가요?
새로운 리스트는 2010년 7월 1일부터 신청 되는 모든 기술 이민 신청서에 적용됩니다.

 

2010년 7월 1일 이전에 접수한 신청서도 이번 변경에 해당되나요?
이번 새로운 직업군 리스트는 이미 2010년 7월 1일 이전에 접수 된 기술이민 신청에는 적용되지 않습니다.  

 

 2010년 1월에 기술독립이민 비자를 신청했고 2월 8일 이후에 주정부 스폰서로 변경했는데 예전 직업군 리스트로 진행되나요?
  네, 만약 신청서를 같은 기술이민 비자 종류에서 변경되었다면 예전 직업군 리스트로 진행됩니다. 예를 들어,
        onshore from subclass 885 to subclasses 886 or 887; and

             offshore from subclass 175 to subclass 176.

The new Skilled Occupations List (SOL) will take effect from 1 July 2010.

How long would this new list be in effect?

The new list of occupations will be updated annually, and will change in accordance with the needs of the Australian labour market. While the new list would be expected to stay relatively stable, there is no guarantee how long a particular occupation may remain on it.

Who would the new list apply to?

The new list will apply to all new GSM applications made from 1 July 2010.

Are there any transitional arrangements?

Yes. A number of transitional arrangements have been introduced to minimise the impact of this change on international students.

The new list of occupations will not apply to any valid GSM applications already lodged before 1 July 2010.

I lodged an application for a GSM visa before 1 July 2010. Will I be affected by these proposed changes?

Any pending GSM visa applications lodged before the new list of occupations comes into effect on 1 July 2010 will not be affected by this change.

I applied for a permanent independent permanent GSM visa in January 2010 and then changed my application to a permanent sponsored permanent GSM visa after 8 February 2010. Does the old SOL still apply to my application?

Yes, if you change your application from one subclass to another but within the same GSM visa class, that is:

                  for onshore from subclass 885 to subclasses 886 or 887; and

                  for offshore from subclass 175 to subclass 176.
